The foundation works for the new Combined Cycle Power Plant at Barcelona Port (Spain) were executed using TERRA precast piles, during the period February 2.008 – January 2.009.
Between February and November 2009, the foundation was made in three piling operations by means of Terra precast piles in structures E-4.1, E-5.1, E-5.3.1, E-7 y E-8.1 of the branch line, Castellbisbal/Mollet, Mollet junction in Castellbisbal (Barcelona).
Between the months of January 2014 and June 2014, the precast pile foundation of the Tunu and Ogotobo crude oil separation stations was carried out. Those sites are located at the Bayelsa State in Nigeria.

The project is located in the heart of Barcelona. The scope is to execute protection for TBM excavation for the buildings and singular monuments, in the most important commercial area of Barcelona, with a high density of shops and tourism places.
Terratest has executed the foundation of the future AVE Station in Girona, acting as main contractor directly for the UTE AVE GIRONA. The foundation works started on November 2008 and finish April 2010, including the execution of the perimeter diaphragm wall of the station, the foundation bearing elements, and a provisional pile retaining wall inside the station.
Execution of the following works has been proceeded with for bracing of the access banks to the new Somport Tunnel, as well as for the foundations corresponding to the control buildings for said tunnel.

Preload treatment was executed during the month of March of 2000, by means of Wick Drains for consolidation of the terrain at the Calamocha Purifying Plant (Teruel).

The work involved the execution of a waterproof bottom slab with Jet-grouting columns, along the future track path situated between diaphragm walls performed for the excavation. Once the columns were tested, we proceeded to design the required distribution and type sections.
The soil improvement treatment executed by Jet grouting type I, was carried out to avoid possible terrain settling brought about by the TBM ground excavation during the execution of the metro tunnel. For that reason, Jet grouting columns with inverted V shape, were deployed in almost the whole surface to be treated, the only modification applied being the inclination of the columns.

The extension of the AC-141 road between the towns of Cabañas and Goente in Corunna required the augmentation of the side of the mountain through the technique of ecological walls.
Auscultation of the Arbón Dam was reinforced by placing 4 vibrating wire piezometers in the abutments of the clay core. The piezometers were embedded at the bottom of 4 bore holes executed from the crowning. Perforation was in dry and with continuous extraction of the check sample.
